I am amazed that I can't draw any sort of prettyboy elves.

Also my stuff and characters have gotten more than usual "Reminds me of this -insert movie/game/anime/comic-" comments and I don't know why. Maybe I'm not *gasp* creative and original anymore!

Dude, did we have wonderful fireworks last night! I don't think I've seen as pretty since 2000.

The first pic of 2010. Oh boy, sure is promising.

I just do. They are smelly, poisonous, messy and don't cover anything properly unless mixed with white. Anyway...

I got so inspired while playing Brütal Legend and looking through the concept art (Scott C I may hate your boobchicks but damn you are such an artgod otherwise!) that I had to take a go with them again. I actually ordered the art book just to get my fix of awesome.
The lower one is not really finished, I just got tired of playing around with it so I never corrected any details, not to mention my scanner really dislikes large white parts of paints and makes unholy shadows in those parts.

Also on unrelated news, I never thought I'd have to close the membership of Anti_Sparkledog but little kids have proved to be such unrelenting assholes that I had to please the members this time.

Oh look, our years old Sharkmän animation!

It took like, what, two to three years to get it ripped to .avi and downloaded?

And now, ahem ahem...
Vauvakolibri Presents
The Best of Christian Answers Movie Review Comments
-Princess and the Frog-

"the themes of voodoo, palm reading, etc. are not for any age!"
Whoa, palm reading is too hard core.

"The two characters who actually had good character and morals were the princesses parents particularly the father but he died at the beginning of the movie."
They totally should've made a movie about the dad that just did work, yeah!

"Please communicate to Disney that Christian families want stories with a better moral standing."
Yes, because stories about fighting against Really Bad Evil are morally corruptive to young children!

"My daughter and I were so disturbed by the demonic that we ended up walking out half way through the movie and getting our money back, as my daughter said.. “I don't want to talk about the scary shadow's, they made my stomach hurt.”"
Your daughter sucks for being so oversensitive, the end.

"I am an adult, and I found some parts to be scary,"
Well you suck too. Jeez, is it really so hard to allow SOMETHING to be scary in movies?

"I say that it is not a good movie because it has a lot of voodoo and does not have any Christian stuff at all. Parts of it are good and some are just yuck!"
...Okay, this one was eight. Still?

I'm generally not against religion. I'm against stupid people. Giving stupid, biased reviews. But in the end, now I REALLY want to see thins movie. Palm reading? Now that'll quench my thirst for satanic ritals, rowr!

Oh nice, first FA gets busted and now DA is screaming Internal Service Error.
Also I'm currently re-watching the the worst crap tv has ever released to walk among men; The Crow tv-series. I was pretty obsessed about this series as a kid (since I had no way of even knowing there was a comic and an actual good movie) and yeah. You can thank that series for Tarmare/Martare.

Ffffff I hate how always I try to write a story I do a Steve Niles and never use the full potential that my characters could allow.
Also I really don't have much sketches so these are just a collection of stuff I've posted around lately.

Well, it's a very dark puddle.

Also inspirational word of the day: "sunken whale bones"

EDIT:
Oh yeah, everyday I look myself from the mirror and think "I really should use these mirrors and draw myself while brushing teeth or something" but then I already have to go and when I get back or it's a day off I just can't find the strength to do it; also isn't there any place in helsinki where you could do life drawing (of a model) without enlisting to a school or paying assload of money?

Tough day at job sure. I'm only one of our group here.

Sigh, I wish I wasn't such a forum phobic.
I'd love to actually get critique on several things, but I hate being social in all ways (and it's been increasing, I don't even answer DA/FA comments anymore) and if I get a forum account on anywhere, I'll end up forgetting it eventually because it's no immediate use to me.
I haven't gotten any comments/critique in CA.org so it's no use for me to go there and thus I won't get any feedback either. Vicious wheel of suck.
...Okay with CA.org I always feel I'm way ove my head there so it intimidates me.

IT'S ON NOW. JERBOA ADVENTURE IN MOIPAL.
LOOK AT THAT CUTE LITTLE THING. IT'S ADORABLE AND AWESOME IN IT'S PIXEL MIGHT.

Sooo I saw the press presentation thingy of Alan Wake and holy if there's one thing I must say it's that the atmosphere is amazing *sparkles* and it's actually more of that sort of brooding, heavy darkness atmosphere. Not to mention I was like "whoa shit!" when the goddamn excavator came alive.
And I'm also itching to see more of Dante's Inferno now that I've watched the trailers, with it's delicious disgusting design. Especially the Cerberus, obviously my favorite.

Also since when have you been able to use mounts underwater in WoW? I feel akward.

Haven't done many sketchdumps since I haven't actually sketched much. All the stuff I've done lately is work either for MoiPal or magazine(s) and I won't post them anywhere before they've been published.

I've been re-watching so much MTV Fear and Paranormal State that I had to try drawing my ghost characters bit more realistically; curse you Charlie and your tiny chin, and of course posting it in fullsize right to everyones flist because I'm conciderate like that.

Oh god look what I woke up into!

And last night it was completely snowless with assload of mist. When they said in radio that it was gonna snow I didn't really belive it would snow like this.

Whoaaa.
Also look at my awesome rabbit skin earmuffs!

I mean holy crap these are the warmest, softest and prettiest earmuffs I've ever had (they are also my first, but ignore that). And they were pretty cheap considering they are real fur, so they probably are cityrabbit or something.

And I finally got more time in WoW, so goodbye life for a while.

Ooo, a rare public whine!
Certain things reminded me of this again, partly my new intern job, mainly because I have trouble understanding what our/my (not really) boss (but the guy who usually does the art and thus provides the qualitycheck on my art) is wanting from me. Except from okay art of course. He's either trying to be friendly and encourage me to get better at doing pixels (which is pretty hard since the amount of pixelart I've done before this is so small it wouldn't satisfy a fly so I'm in the state that I can't even see what's wrong in my pixels, let alone satisfy any gods of pixel with my 16 colours) or then he's trying to piss me off. I'm microscopically veering to the "encourage" side, but I'm not sure yet.

I'm also having trouble understanding the concept of "vent art" (How do you do it? Why? Aside from releasing steam obviously) and having emotion in your art. Can you put emotion in to your art if you don't feel any while drawing?
