Oh god look what I woke up into!

And last night it was completely snowless with assload of mist. When they said in radio that it was gonna snow I didn't really belive it would snow like this.

Whoaaa.
Also look at my awesome rabbit skin earmuffs!

I mean holy crap these are the warmest, softest and prettiest earmuffs I've ever had (they are also my first, but ignore that). And they were pretty cheap considering they are real fur, so they probably are cityrabbit or something.

And I finally got more time in WoW, so goodbye life for a while.

Ooo, a rare public whine!
Certain things reminded me of this again, partly my new intern job, mainly because I have trouble understanding what our/my (not really) boss (but the guy who usually does the art and thus provides the qualitycheck on my art) is wanting from me. Except from okay art of course. He's either trying to be friendly and encourage me to get better at doing pixels (which is pretty hard since the amount of pixelart I've done before this is so small it wouldn't satisfy a fly so I'm in the state that I can't even see what's wrong in my pixels, let alone satisfy any gods of pixel with my 16 colours) or then he's trying to piss me off. I'm microscopically veering to the "encourage" side, but I'm not sure yet.

I'm also having trouble understanding the concept of "vent art" (How do you do it? Why? Aside from releasing steam obviously) and having emotion in your art. Can you put emotion in to your art if you don't feel any while drawing?

Awww, Music Meister you are such a darling, especially since it never seemed to occur to you that you were probably bullied because my god your eyes are a pair of notes and not because you sang in the chorus.

This comic tells a magical adventure from my youth and the reason why Jenn's name is Jenn today.
I generally don't like having characters with the same name as my friends, if I can help it anyway. Niinjoo Maura olen sinulle vielä auki vitosen.

I... I'm not sure what exactly reminded me of this but...

THIS IS ME FROM MY SKETCHBOOK/DIARY ERA 2005. IT HURTS, MOTHER.

I guess this was some sort of equivalent to fursona seeing how I couldn't draw humans so I drew myself like this. Because I was lazy. Not that I knew what a fursona was, but...
If you behave well, kids, I'll show you how I drew humans too.

Oh boi oh boi, did I have the most wonderful short class about storytelling and storyboarding!
And like the teacher said, the easiest way to ruin your life is to study movies. It blows up your mind and prevents you from actually enjoying them. So it should be applied in small doses only.

I'm swamped with work (so sorry Ksi I'm doing my job I swear!), I got a new job to illustrate a poem book (we'll see how that goes) but the writer told me it can wait since I have school and interning and all that, also I'm doing pixul arts for the revised Iron Snake (which is going to be a LOT of work) and I've a novel to illustrate (should be finishing them arts already) and my own thingie of a diploma work.
But I'm a stress free individual so I'm just chilling in the breeze.

Also I'll get a more or less wanted visit tomorrow, so I had to spend all day cleaning and tomorrow we'll just watch Predator to educate the poor girl (yeah! I even unpacked Arnold again) though I should be drawing but what the heck, I'd just sleep anyway.

I saw 9.
It was, how you say...
EXTREMELY FANTASTICALLY AWESOMESQUE DEATH MACHINE SUPERMOVIE YEAH!!
And there was some really neat lights there which I am envious of.
I loved the characters because, well, it was obvious they were going to do the "oh and all these characters will show some distinctive/stereotypical personality trait hurr hurr" but all and all they had some pretty belivable behaviour, at least those who had the spotlight and weren't killed in the next second.
The biggest problem with this that it had so much action in it that it kinda ate the room from the characters (nine is pretty big cast for a thing like this) and the plot which was pretty simple (let's go save that guy oops the bad guy woke let's kill it). And though I looooved the Winged Beast and Seamstress I think it would have benefitted the movie story-wise to have one smaller, recurring bad guy and then the final, bigger bad guy instead of three small bad guys that are chopped off after one appearance.

So it really didn't have much calm spots, and those that it had were used mainly to get on with the backstory, but on the otherhand it really wasn't boring or dull in any point, and there were NONE irritating comic-relief characters or forced stupid jokes or references to mainstream things. Which I praise any movie god there is. And the mood, general idea, design and monsters were awesome which makes me forgive the storytelling mishaps there was. (And I watched it in theatre.)

So it wasn't as good as Coraline when it came to story but seeing that the last movie I saw in a theatre was Transformers 2... Yeah, 9 goes WAY over THAT.

And damn the twins were cute, like tiny jerboas. So have OOC fanart speedpaint. Click for big.

Muuutta se kirja oli hyvä. Kannessa pari häiritsevää kohtaa mutta muuten.

Oli myös hauska lukea kritiikki meme jutun vastauksia, ironisesti kaikki kehuivat niitä asioita joita itse pidän huonona eikä kukaan maininnut niitä asioita joita itse pidän ongelmallisina, esim käsiä. The more you know.

ON OTHER NEWS I've been watching Die Schule der kleinen Vampire which is strangely addictive because I understand enough to make it really confusing at times, thank you six years of learning deu-GERMAN. Seriously, the only thing it did was brainwash me to say "Deutsch" instead of "German/Saksa". Anyway I really like the fact that the butler is straight from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Today was also light dramaturgy, which was only halfly boring so I didn't fully finish the third issue of Shroo Comix but I did scribble.

Jesh, sain ajan hiustenleikkuuseen perjantaiksi. Voitte odottaa jotain outoa taas tulevaksi.

Oh noes, my sketchbook is ending soo, only six or seven pages left. It's time for bittersweet goodbyes.
